That email forward in which the letters in words are randomly displayed is on display at MaxSpeak. I found it via Matthew Yglesias. I'm sure my mom has forwarded that email to me before. I don't know if the research actually exists because I don't think I've ever met anyone who couldn't read it. Then again, only my parents have ever commented on it with me.
