Charles Mingus - Tijuana Moods

How does a good basketball team lose to North Dakota State? That's really all that I want to say about that.

I start at the Sentencing Commission today. It'll be a lovely afternoon without windows or privacy.

I want to start a consulting firm, but I fear I have no experience that could land me any clients. It's a shame.

I would join your firm, but I also lack any experience that might bring in clients. We would have the best waiting room music in the world, but there would be no one there to hear it. What a shame.

Are you going to ask your bosses at the sentencing commission if you can come to the Punishment Law and Policy symposium put on by Texas Law Review? That would be sweet.

I'm afraid I'll be in Jefferson, WI, presenting an analysis of a juvenile justice diversion program. I'll be writing a report on sentencing as it relates to recidivism for some class of crimes, possibly sexual assault or drug offenses.

Maybe we could simply be incredibly inexpensive consultants. We could get clients by undercutting the competition.
