Movies

15. Going the Distance - This is a horrible Canadian take on the post-high school road trip comedy. It's cliche and a little gross at times, but it is intriguing because it is Canadian. Apparently, Canadians think that they have a country worthy of making a road trip movie about. That's hilarious. These kids are going to Toronto to go to the Much Music Awards Show so that the main character can keep his girlfriend from sleeping with Jason Priestly. Along the way, some stuff happens. Then Avril Lavigne pours water on a guy and there's a Sum-41 song for the credits. There is also a Nickelback sex joke. I don't know. So, it's not a good movie on its merits, but there are Canadians. And let's be honest, who amongst us doesn't laugh at Canadians?
