An experience everyone should have

If you have never spent over 40 hours in a weekend working on a project, I highly recommend it. I thought my brain quit when I did 30 hours last week, but that was nothing compared to this weekend.

I don't think I ever spent 40 hours a weekend in the library, even during finals. I think I topped out around 30. That's brutal. Come to Austin and relax.

It's this strange world in which I wake up at 9 and sit in from of my computer almost straight through until 4 in the morning. At that time I retire to bed, totally awake and thinking about my project. I've managed to do less work on it today, since I've basically written the entire paper and it's Easter. The wife doesn't enjoy all of this time that I'm spending working.

i seriously hope you're not working on "our" proj!

Cuz 1) it doesn't deserve 40 hours, ever. and 2) I sure as hell haven't given it a 2nd thought since 3:15 last Thursday. 3) despite that, I hope you won't do a what-if-I-don't-pull-my-weight experiment on me!!

As a rule, I only think about our project the day before I believe something to be due, maybe two days before. And it's not a what if I don't pull my weight thing, it's an I've done the majority of the work on a 4 person group project so what happens if I decide that I've done enough type of thing. But that won't happen, because my name will be on the report. If my name is on it, it better be as good as I could make it.

You may in fact the perfect project partner for me, although it's hard to make a valid assessment seeing as our collaboration is only three short assignments thus far.
