the Beatles - Let it be

The city of Houston pays their employees shit. I was searching city jobs and things that I'm qualified for pay less on an hourly basis than what I'm making as a project assistant at the University of Wisconsin. $27,000 a year for someone with a master's in public affairs? The University of Wisconsin pays the equivalent of $30,000 a year when extrapolated to full-time employment, plus tuition and most fees. You can do better Houston. San Antonio pays considerably better. The problem that I'm going to have is one of interviewing. It will be difficult to compete with locals when I'm so hard to hire, logistically speaking. Oh well.

I'm trying to watch Casino Royale, but it's so boring for the first hour. It takes over 45 minutes for the main characters to be introduced.

We slept in today. I feel bad about that. According to Monster.com, I am an analytic type who needs autonomy and the opportunity to question the status quo. They say I should be making over $110,000 a year. I think they want me to pay the $13 to get the report. I'm not going to do that. My analytical mind calls bullshit.

The thing I like about clothes from Urban Outfitters is that they fall apart really easily. I think that the falling apart is timed to coincide with things going out of style. When the trend changes, you don't have to worry about finding room in your closet. The clothes will have disappeared by then.
